He's on the move!
For about 2 weeks now, Lucas has been on his hands and knees trying to figure out the crawling thing. He's squirming, lunging, and wriggling around. Well today was the day. He figured it out this morning. He crawled about 8 feet across the floor trying to get a red cone. We'll post a video soon.

Fun Days at Daycare
Every week, daycare hosts special days. Some days he comes home with something special. Here's the pics from Mickey Mouse Day and Native American day. He had crazy hair day, too, but unfortunately his hair wasn't so crazy....not enough on his head, thus no pictures. Hopefully, they
will
have another crazy hair day later in the year.

He's making noises...
Well, we thought we would share some of the fun noises that he makes. We have been meaning to put this up for a week or so now, but Mr. Lucas has not had a very good last 4 days. We have had sleepless nights which have not been very fun. We discovered after a few days of thinking he had some type of infection or gas problem to what is to our surprise teeth coming in. We weren't aware that teeth would be coming in so quickly. It is not typical but according to some of the research we did online it apparently happens quite often. In the mean time, here is a fun bit of him and I playing together. It was a good father / son moment.

Moving right along
We are happy to report Lucas is turning over from belly to back and vice versa. He is also scooting forward on his belly. He's moving so much he doesn't stay on his playmat or floor blanket anymore. He's also gotten really good at sitting up. Unfortunately for us, all this movement has brought about a 4:00 am visitor called hunger. Poor thing's stomach is growling at that time he's so hungry. Luckily, he goes right back to sleep once his belly is full.
