Three Generations

Great Grandpa Holokahi and Grandma (Sam's mom) came to visit Lucas recently. It was neat to see all three generations together. Lucas talked Grandpa's ears off. The visit was short, but oh, so sweet.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

Okay...this is for all Lori's friends. I don't have much to say. Simple and ohhhh so sweet!!!

Ummmm...never thought I would be so pumped about a freakin cupcake.

My wife is sooooo awesome and loves me soooo much to drive out to some middle of now where town and get me these oohhhh sooo delicious cup cakes. They are TO DIE FOR!

But then again I am easy to please when it comes to sweets.

It was a good birthday needless to say.

Family Outing to Central Market

My two lil peeps and I went to Central Market for Beer and Burgers. We listened to a band and hung out on a blanket and had a picnic.

Lucas seemed to enjoy himself.

Not so little Lucas

Well, its been a while since I've left a post, but Lucas is sleeping and Sam is at work and I've already taken my shower so I have a few minutes!! We weighed Lucas at the doctor's on Monday.....he was 12 lb 9 ounces and 24 inches long! Wow....that's some growth in his six weeks of life! He really hasn't started to fill out, but I could tell he was getting longer because many of his little outfits are getting too small for him in length.

We went out to lunch for the first time without Sam. Lucas and I met Rachel and little Aiden at The Lunchbox in Fort Worth. Both boys did really great....they pretty much slept through the entire event.

It's amazing how quickly they change. I know people always say that but unless they are your own, you really can't comprehend it. I've been trying to get him to mimic my facial expression and finally, today when I stuck out my tongue, he did it too. We've noticed he's starting to make more cooing sounds and less grunts (too bad, the grunting was hilarious) and when he's really happy he makes a sweet oooooo sound. He can hold his head up really well and he's enjoying his bathtime much more than he did on the video! And last,but not least, his smiles melt my heart.

A Few Firsts...

No cute name or theme this week just some things that he did that we thought were kind of cute. It is his one month since his birthday. Time is flying. He had his first bath in his bath tub as well as kickin it with his hat like his pop.
